Swimming Pool Rules and Regulations

The following rules and regulations are for the protection and benefit of all to assure safe and sanitary operation of the pool facilities. Your cooperation in abiding by these conditions will afford a pleasant relaxation and recreation for all concerned. Members and their families are requested to caution their children to observe all rules and regulations and obey instructions of the pool management.

Like all other Cooperative facilities, use of the swimming pool is strictly limited to members who are listed on a membership of the Cooperative who are in good standing, and the following special categories of other authorized users:

  1. Resident dependent members of the immediate family of Cooperative members under the age of 22. All children of members, 22 years of age and older, will purchase a daily ticket or they may accompany the member and utilize the provided guest pass. Handicapped children are exempt from this requirement.
  2. All grandchildren of Cooperative members 18 years and under may be allowed to enter the pool. Names of all grandchildren must be listed on the pool application prior to the pool season.
  3. Daily passes are $5 each. Daily passes may be purchased in the Housing Office during business hours or at the pool gate on weekends.
  4. Non-swimming guests and children under the age of 5 years will enter swimming pool free of charge.

Note: Daily passes must be purchased with a member's check. If payment is made by someone other than a member, that person and all involved members/visitors will be banned from future use.

All persons using the pool or pool area do so at their own risk and sole responsibility. The management does not assume responsibility for any accident or injury in connection with such use. Persons using the pool agrees with the owner and management for and in consideration of the use of the pool as an added facility to make no claim against the owner or management for any loss of life or personal injury or damage to or loss of personal property, except where such loss, injury or damage can be clearly proved to have resulted from and been proximately caused by the direct negligence of the owner, their agents, or employees, in the operation, care or maintenance of the facility upon, the property whatsoever nature by any guests growing out of the use of the swimming pool or pool area, except where such loss, injury or damage can be clearly proved to have resulted from and been proximately caused by the direct negligence of the owner, his agents or employees, in the operation, care or maintenance of the facility.
